Users and Accounts are the core atomic units within Parlor. All other data pulled in Parlor – such as User Needs, Revenue, Survey Responses, etc, – will be associated with a User or Account.
If you have numerous data sources with varying information about your Users and Accounts, Parlor will merge them into one Unified Account record.
Depending on your needs, you can tailor which accounts you sync between Parlor and any external source. When determining which accounts to sync with Parlor, you have two options to choose from: 1) import all accounts, or 2) import a subsection that matches the criteria you define.
The filter you define that determines if an account enters Parlor is configurable based on any property found on the Account or Opportunity objects. Parlor will check if any matching account exists – either by Account Name or externalID – to prevent duplicates when syncing and creating accounts.
When using a property found on an Opportunity to create an account in Parlor (i.e., only creating Accounts in Parlor if they have a Closed Won Opportunity), you must associate the opportunity to an account for the account to get created.
Sync Opportunities from the CRM
You can sync your opportunity data with Parlor just like syncing Accounts. Based on the data connected to your opportunities, Parlor will calculate four revenue fields:
Current Revenue: Sum of all Closed Won opportunities on an Account in which the contract or subscription length is unexpired.
Open Opportunity Revenue: Sum of all Open Opportunities on an Account.
Closed Lost Revenue: Sum of all Closed Lost Opportunities on an Account.
Lifetime Value: Sum of all Closed Won Opportunities on an Account.
💡 Account and Opportunity is most commonly synced through the following integration:
